This month’s feature bread recipe:
- Country Style – A great sandwich option for those wanting to spice things up a bit! Cut flat bread horizontally into two 12 inch halves. With a long, sharp bread knife, slice as you would a bun to create both top and bottom portions. In between the sections, sprinkle shredded cheese of your choice, cooked bacon or ham and toast in your oven for 5 minutes or until golden brown and the cheese inside bubbles. Carefully remove from oven, let stand for 3 minutes. Cut into 3 inch sections and serve stacked on a platter.
Quick Tips
- Taftoon. What is the best way to eat this flatbread? Use your imagination! Toast and dip or roll your favourite meats and spreads! Serve warm with your favourite dips or aside your soup. Taftoon is a yeast-free flatbread and a great option for those with allergies or sensitivities to yeast.
- Focaccia. Our Focaccia Bread makes a fantastic dinner accompaniment. Soak up the sauce alongside pasta or try it with a homemade artichoke dip.
- Barbari Naan. This bread is perfect for making sandwiches or alongside soup. Saman’s Naan can be eaten fresh or toasted.
